Chuck Bowman, Regional Vice President of Sales & Marketing, USA

I assisted Charles who was grappling with unemployment and health issues in rediscovering his passion and purpose.

Initially feeling lost and disheartened, he sought to fill the void left by his former job with hobbies that provided personal fulfillment, akin to his previous professional achievements.

During our initial session, he reflected extensively on his past successes and his current sense of inadequacy as a father and husband due to his health challenges. Despite his initial feelings of despair, through thought-provoking dialogue and his commitment to change, he transitioned from a state of self-pity to proactive engagement. Over the course of four sessions, I guided him towards hobbies that resonated with him, including delving into stoic philosophy, embracing vinyasa yoga, incorporating mindful breathing exercises, and practicing guided meditation.

Balancing these newfound interests with his responsibilities as a stay-at-home dad presented a challenge, prompting us to explore effective time management strategies. Through this process, he discovered pockets of time within his daily routine, totaling five hours, that he could dedicate to his hobbies. Furthermore, we explored career options that aligned with his health constraints, ultimately identifying avenues for mentorship and volunteer work.

By the conclusion of our sessions, he had initiated the process of reentering the job market with renewed confidence and a clearer sense of purpose.
